Bouncer grunted as she climbed upon the mountain side. The rocks were slippery, due to the morning dew, and the high altitude. Kentsu was on Haruki's back, as the ragtag group climbed.

Kentsu: If my flippers were stronger, I would make it easier for you by not being on your back...
Haruki: Kentsu, it's fine.

Fran snorted and looked at Spark, who was trailing a little far behind. Spark jumped as rocks fell near him.

Spark: Why can't I use my Jet-Pack? It's not like it'll be affected like the rest of you!
Bouncer: Well, we could have taken the easy route and get attacked, or we climb. We chose to climb. If we fly, we'll just plummet straight to the valley floor, even your Jet-Pack won't work, even if it isn't anywhere like wings.
Spark: ...

A shriek pierced the air, much like that of a bird. A bright shining light, the color of a dark-light green deflected upon the group's eyes.

Bouncer: It's the Jade Skarmory!
Darkenna: If we can't fly, then why can she?
Serpenna: Maybe because the peak is slightly different?
Bouncer: Possibly, because we're near the peak, everybody jump off the edge and fly!

The group sprang off the edge and were flying, and at high speed flew straight to the peak of the mountain.

There, awaited, the Jade Skarmory, her eyes glowing yellow, with no pupils to show a sign of knowing.
